Tom Porter and Katea Stitt were back with us for part one of this week’s show to discuss the latest in the WPFW/Pacifica unrest. We aired some audio from the recent town hall meeting held in hostile response to John Hughes’ imposed changes. And out of that discussion came Porter’s strongly supported idea that Luke Stewart become the station’s new program director. Then we spoke with members of a Dorothy Cotton Institute delegation recently back from Palestine. Laura Branca and Kirby Edmondson of DCI and Dr. Robert Harris of the Africana Studies and Research Center at Cornell University shared with us some of their thoughts on the conditions of Palestinian people and the on-going “apartheid” imposed by Israel.

Much respect to the fight back (and forward) against gentrifica’s coup and its missionary right to protect the dc communities of colour with its Non-Profit ideological agenda. Give’m hell, Jared et al!
