Mr. Muhammad, as part of the Nation of Islam’s Historical Research Department, offered important insights into the nature of the publication, its purpose, the research methods deployed and responded with particular expertise to specific questions raised regarding the nature of that research. The discussion raised publicly serious questions that are often discussed privately and that which continue in many ways to inhibit real change in the world.

Just The Facts! Cedric Muhammad offered a factual and enlightening response during this interview. No one can dispute the facts that the Nation Of Islam has offered in “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews” volumes 1 and 2.
My primary critique of this work — and the Nation of Islam generally — is it attempts to string together ‘facts’ [which they're not, or are selective] in a fashion that says very little politically about Black oppression and Black liberation. No one expects NOI to have particularly sharp radical, revolutionary nationalist or class politics to what they do, obviously (Black capitalist pretensions and all), but its bizarre focus on Jews rather than the power, privilege and the overall structure of white supremacy exposes lays bare the sort of absurdity that can’t be dreamed up.
Has anyone commenting glowingly of such an interview actually read this book? I have when I was NOI as a youngster. Then I realized these folks like pimping revolutionary talk while putting out this garbage.
While there may have been Jews in the Confederate Army, and such may be a fact, does anyone honestly think such is really a relevant issue to Black liberation today? Or that the book’s contentions Jews have been kicked out of countries, held movements back, et al. meaningful in politically grasping the problem of the bought-off Black middle class? The Portuguese were some of the biggest players in the slave trade, yet NOI feels a near obligation to call out Jews? Ignorant. Capitalism and white supremacy, not Jewish Illuminati conspiracy theories, have screwed more Black people than any Jew ever did. Too bad NOI is all about starting businesses and keeping women in ‘their’ place to talk real.

We in the Nation of Islam deal with actual facts, and you stated that the Portuguese were some of the biggest players in the slave trade and that may be true. We are dealing with the architects of White Supremacy, and most of talk about white supremacy but fail to mention who are it’s architects. So it is very important for us as a people to know and understand how the so called Jews go to be in the privilege positions that they hold today. The Portuguese did not own seventy percent of the slaves in the south, but I realize it is natural for a mischief maker to cast the blame on another ethincity to deal with the facts at hand. You claim to have read the book, but by the comments it seems that you did not comprehend what you have read. So the Most HEM teaches us that history is most attractive and best qualified to reward our research, and so if our people do not know what was they will not know how to rid themselves of suppressive and psychomatic mindsets that exist today.! I can appreciate any critique as long as it’s based on unbiased critical thought. This book was not written in a vacuum. Minister Farrakhan has criticized every sector of the human family that has abused and misused the weak and oppressed, bar none, however he is continuously accused by the Jews as being anti-semitic which has given many the false impression that he offers critique to Jews exclusively. This book defends the previous statements the Minister has made regarding the oppression of the black community by the Jewish community and how they always label anyone who offers any critique of their questionable activities and their effects on other peoples and communities, anti-semitic. Bro. Cedric makes this very clear in the interview if you listen, but it sounds to me like you may have some underlying personal gripes against the Minister and the Nation. The relevance to our peoples condition today is that the Jewish bankers, in many cases, still sit in the seat of financial power and are stealing the resources of many so-called third world countries through unfair loaning practices that would be comparable to share-cropping. There is a documentary that illustrates my point called, “Life and debt.” That deals with the World Bank and IMF and how they have oppressed Jamaica. Malcolm X said that when you throw a rock in a pack of wolves, the one that cries out is the one that got hit. If you have followed Minister Farrakhan for any amount of time, you know he has spoken critically of the entire human family and how we have fallen short of our natural duty, but he has been attacked most vehemently by this group of so-called Jews. This book only proves that his words are based in truth and not some emotional obsession with an innocent group of business saavy people.

First I would like to give my God all the glory and praise. The Jews of today are not the chosen people of God. As all creation began in Africa in the Great Rift Valley. So the so-called white culture came from the black culture. Most people don’t know that 60 million Africans died in the Middle passage. The Hebrews were black. So we must learn our history before we can blame others.
Arguments against Jews in this context are absurd. What about the free Blacks in in the American colonies in the 15th and 16th century who themselves held kidnapped Africans in slavery-They “owned” slaves.
Cite your sources. Jews as a group are guilt because they are Europeans and all Euros benefited from the slave trade. Slave Trade was a business, Dutch, Germans and all Whites were involved at some level in this crime against Humanity.

So I guess that Malcolm’s widow, the late Betty Shabazz, is also an “ignorant uncle tom negro”? When asked in 1995 if Farrakhan killed her husband, she said, “yes, yes, of course he did.”
