It’s time once again to rally round the red, black and green and celebrate Black August, a time when we remember that our liberation in the new world so far has been by our own efforts to shake off oppression by any means necessary. Rock against racism to the voices of Jared Ball on democracy, Blitz the Ambassador on political activism and Angela Davis on prisons as a tool for political repression in the USA and casting the immigrant and black males as “the enemy.”
