I’ve never been much for poetry but Laini Mataka will make me revisit the subject.
She is an amazing sister, poet, storyteller, scholar, and more. I heard her at Sweet & Natural and that performance made me re-think the way I write. She is inspiring.
Awesome show! Great poetry – and that “silence of the lamb” piece? 8-0
