We came back again this week with part two of The L’s Coming: Liberating Dr. King from DJ Sese and we talked with Dr. Joseph Richardson about the crisis of mass incarceration, particularly that of Black youth! It was all good on this edition of The Super Funky Soul Power Hour!

  1. Great mix! Shout out to DJ Sese for this one. “Machine Gun” is one of Jimi’s all time classics.Who is that on vocals on Jimi’s joint at the 18:00-17:45 min mark? Sounds like Cee Lo Green. How can I get the extended version of that Machine Gun with the unknown on vocals?

Hope to hear more from Dr. Joseph Richardson real soon. Great Show!

Bottom line: We are responsible for our future. The system (european political managers) is going to live out their legacy and make sure that they stick to their agenda…

In the meantime, we have failed to capitalize off the essence of the million man march and other grassroots initiatives designed to restore us spiritually, culturally and economically…

We continue to lose a war that we must win… An Afrocentric philosophical paradigm is a validated strategic measure to save ourselves from ourselves, but the masses continue too run from Ujima (Collective work and responsibility)…

We are the solution to the madness…
