The Black August Planning Committee organized a day-long symposium, part of their month-long Black August programming, commemorating Tupac Shakur and the tradition of political struggle from which he came.  This often unknown legacy continues to weaken the potential of Tupac’s  continuing world wide influence.  This segment featured the work of John Potash whose presentation was based on his book/CD The FBI War on Tupac Shakur and Black Leaders: U.S. Intelligence’s Murderous Targeting of Tupac, MLK, Malcolm, Panthers, Hendrix, Marley, Rappers & Linked Ethnic Leftists.
